Navigate procedurally shifting corridors teeming with horrors

Moros Protocol is an action game. It immerses you in a decaying warship adrift in deep space, where every corridor feels alive with danger and every shadow hides a lurking horror. You awaken aboard the Orpheus with no memories and only a disembodied voice guiding you forward.

In Moros Protocol, armed with retro-inspired pixel textures and an arsenal of sci-fi weaponry, you must blast through relentless enemies that spit acid, screech in the darkness, or tower over you as massive nightmares. The map shifts each time you die, blending handcrafted rooms with procedurally generated hallways

 Adapt through relentless combat

In this Moros Protocol adventure game, you’ll be scavenging some augments that modify your reflexes, grant explosive rounds, or cloak you in shadow. Adapting your loadout is crucial—what works one run may doom you the next. Combat is fast and brutal. You’ll dodge fireballs, kick foes into ventilation shafts, and chain together railgun blasts that light up the corridors.

The tension never lets up, amplified by dynamic lighting that casts long, trembling shadows and an eerie soundtrack that pulses beneath your feet. When you encounter a boss, the pacing shifts: you learn attack patterns, find cover, and strike back with surgical precision. Victory feels hard-earned and triumphant. Permadeath sends you back to the start, but each failure deepens your understanding of the ship’s twisted layout and hostile factions.

The narrative unfolds sparingly through audio logs and environmental clues, hinting at corporate experiments gone wrong and an AI gone rogue. Co-op mode adds a layer of camaraderie as you coordinate augment synergies with a friend, combining freezing grenades and homing rounds to survive double the horrors. Moros Protocol doesn’t hold your hand; it demands quick reflexes, strategic thinking, and relentless determination. However, there is a steep difficulty curve for newcomers.

Confront fearsome bosses

Moros Protocol delivers an intense fusion of fast-paced pixel-art shooting, roguelike unpredictability, and Souls-like boss challenges. Each run plunges you into procedurally shifting corridors filled with grotesque monsters, rewarding sharp reflexes and strategic loadout customization. Dynamic lighting and haunting audio deepen immersion as you adapt to new augments and layouts. Permadeath fuels mastery, turning every failure into progress. Whether solo or co-op, survival demands quick thinking, precise aiming, and relentless determination.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
